Just had two nights at these apartments. Excellent place to stay, very clean and tidy, staff are really polite and helpful. Will definitely look to stay here next time we are in London -thank you

Really enjoyed our stay. We had a room at 8th floor with a beautiful vista over London. Tower Bridge was visible from the room so that's a nice bonus. The room was spatious and clean and we had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The toilet was also clean and the water pressure was top notch. The only downside we faced was the lack of housekeeping, we had none in the 3 night stay - but it wasn't really a problem. All in all, it's a great value for your money, it's super close to London attractions, there's a pub right next door for breakfast and it's accessible to Public Transportation.

After a 17-day Trans-Atlantic cruise from Miami, FL, we were going to stay in London for a week. After doing our homework and our need to do some laundry (2 weeks worth +), we settled on this combo apartment/hotel. This hotel is located on the north side of the River Thames. The hotel is in east London, a few blocks from Tower Bridge. The assigned studio apartment had everything we needed. Mini fridge, combo washer and dryer, dish washer, and two burner electrical glass range. It also had an in-wall microwave and oven. It was fully stacked with dishes, cups, wine stemware, silverware, pots and pans, etc. The hotel staff from the on-duty manager, front desk staff, housekeeping staff and maintenance worker are second to none. All are super friendly, great to talk to and informative as to the surroundings. They all resolved minor issues that arose in our one week stay. Everyone should experience this one-of-a-kind treatment. One very minor quibble, their Smart TV will not allow in their settings to accept streaming from your cell phone if you have subscription services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. Their channel lineup is strictly local TV with no premium availability. For a short stay, no big deal, however for a longer stay it is a bit frustrating. But with that said, if given the opportunity to return, we would in a heartbeat. Excellent.

Heater didn’t work on the first day. Washer is working but dryer is not. Iron drips water even when the steam is turned off. Intercom sometimes works and sometimes does not. Late checkout is chargeable by £25 per hour. Some staff are friendly but there is one exceptionally rude male staff. Bad experience, will not come back.

The location is the best part, 5 mins walk to tower bridge, 3 mins walk to tower Hill station, 8 mins to algate station, very convenient. Yes there is a railway road next to it but didn't bother much with sound. They also have JDWetherspoon right in front of the main door, so food is sorted as well. Although we had a working kitchen we ate all the time from the restaurant, Staff are very helpful and friendly, if you need to place your bags before check in and checkout they take it for free. In one line, this place is OVER MY EXPECTATIONS 👍🙏

I'm really surprised this has such a low overall rating. I thought it was amazing value. £124 per night for an extremely central location, cheaper than all of the chain hotels but you get a whole apartment not just a bedroom. Everywhere was clean and mostly well maintained. Good shower, comfortable bed. Despite having a busy road on one side and a tube track on the other, with the windows closed you can't hear a thing. A couple of very minor niggles were that the TV only shows channels 1-5 and the shower control was slightly broken- still usable but would be a challenge for anyone with reduced hand mobility to turn on.

UNSAFE hotel/apartments!!! Warning! On 7th of November the staff steals clothes from me- my pajamas. Into the hotel there are Romanian housekeeping, Pakistani receptionist, NO cooperation from the manager, NO support from anyone! I complained to the reception immediatelly after whole day walking into London, and the Pakistani receptionist told me that he could not do anything. After that I wrote 4 emails in 7 days to the manager, he did not answer to any of them. I called him on the phone, he did not want to talk to me! The manager of the hotel is unprofessional member of an unprofessional staff. What an unsafe hotel! I see right now that there are another complains against thieving staff! NO SAFE, NO STAY!

Check in time is whatever is stated unless you want to pay 25 pounds per hour. However, hotel was accommodating and held our bags until check in so that we could explore nearby. Rooms were big and clean. The small kitchenette with washer/dryer was a big plus.

Modern hotel with nice studio-rooms. Not a "normal" hotel, but more of an apartment hotell where they don't clean your room every day. If you need new towels, toilet paper or anything else, the reception is open 24/7, which is very nice. There were some minor problems with the room, like broken lights, problem with the door lock and stuff like that, which was fixed within a day or two. Also cleaning was pretty good, but not perfect. During our 5 night stay we hade to evacuate the hotel in the middle of the night due to a false fire alarm, which was a bit anoying and there was no real information about it during or after the evacuation. All in all, this is a pretty good "hotel" with an excellent location! We paid around £200 a night wich was a good price (during fall break week), so considering that, it was a more than an OK deal. (For a London hotell, I would rate this 4-stars, but for other cities it would most likely be 3 stars.) Might stay here again, now that I know what to expect and if the price is right. Friendly staff, but sometime we had to ask twice for some stuff :)

The apartments are spacious, clean, nice and well located. Was a nice stay. But there are definitely some kitchen utilities and things missing, as well as the service is lacking. We had to ask multiple times until we got the things we needed like toiletries, paper etc. They were only cleaning once (4 nights stay) and showed up at 9 am on a Saturday. Too early. The staff is not very friendly or costumer oriented. Check out is at 10 am and they make you pay 25 pounds for every hour you stay extra. That's not very accommodating. Even though they said we could stay a bit longer and only pay 1h. We ended up paying 2h without any negotiations. Definitely not costumer oriented. But all in all a good place to stay.

Worst place to stay. The curtains were filthy, we found a bug, there were some lights on the roof that couldn’t be turned off, and they were very annoying when trying to sleep. Also, we asked for some items at the reception (like pillow cases to use them for the pillows in the closet - since the pillows were very uncomfortable and soft - an iron) but we’ve never received them. Apart from the location, which was ok, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.

The best thing about this place is location. Room at 9th floor gave best views of Tower Bridge area. The most friendly, helpful, and cheery staff. The room was very clean, and amenities mentioned were provided in the best condition. We had restful nights because it was a noiseless and peaceful hotel. Best value for money. Highly recommended.

Rooms were perfect. The view was beautiful. We had a view of tower bridge. There's a kitchen and even a washer. Staff was friendly and were kind enough to let us borrow the iron and ironing board We liked that we were a 5min walk from the store and we're a 1pmon walk from tower bridge and the bus routes

Do not recommend. Questionable service. 1. Late check-in. We were at the hotel early and management was aware of us waiting. Still they checked us in late because housekeeping was busy. 2. TV has no channels. Management said we could use HDMI cables, but did not provide any. 3. Out of room supplies. Room came with washer. Management ran out of detergent. Asked them every single night if my stay about it. Every single day they said they were running behind.

I stayed at this hotel for 15 days, and while the location and environment were great, my experience was overshadowed by a couple of INCIDENTS. ⚠️Throughout my stay, housekeeping NEVER came unless we specifically requested it. Even after staying for 15 days, the room was only cleaned ONCE—and that was because WE asked for it： 👉👉On the 26th, a somewhat older female staff member knocked on my door in the afternoon, QUESTIONING why we hadn’t checked out yet. When I told her that we were scheduled to leave the next day, she REFUSED to believe me and firmly insisted that the checkout was supposed to be that day. This left me confused as to why she didn’t verify the information first. Later, two housekeeping staff ALSO came by asking why we hadn’t left, adding to the FRUSTRATION and ANGER. ⚠️When I did ask for fresh towels, I received conflicting responses from the front desk. Once, I was told the towels would arrive in 45 minutes, but they didn’t come until the next evening. On another occasion, the gentleman told me to pick them up at the desk, but when I came down to ask again, he said someone would deliver them—which never happened. Was it because the staff had finished their SHIFT and decided not to follow through? ⚠️Upon checking into the room, I noticed one of the bedside lamps was broken and a wall light kept flickering. Since we had already unpacked, we decided to let it go, but it was an inconvenience during our stay. ⚠️Additionally，when I inquired about a late checkout, I was told it would cost £25 for just one hour, which felt excessive considering the service I had experienced. Overall, the communication and coordination among staff seemed inconsistent（ with only one female receptionist with glasses providing more clear and helpful service. ） So I hope the hotel could Reflect on these concerns to improve guest satisfaction.

Brilliant Service And Brilliant accommodation. All the staff were amazing. Please bring photo ID when checking in. It was like not even 5 mins walk from The bridges and the tower. Amazing. Also the top eateries and also attractions. Must visit and also book in at this amazing place at Rockwell East-Tower Bridge. 🙏🏼🙂🙏🏼🙂. Thank You To all the amazing staff. 🙂🙏🏼🙂🙂.

Really disappointing to say that it is great on the exterior with the location and the convenience to commute around, but overpriced and overrated and not worth the hype for its pathetic room amenities and services. I had a terrible experience over the weekend as the AC was not working, bathroom was flooded and TV did not have it's main cable and on reporting the matter or requesting for alternative solutions, i was asked to put up with it and wait till monday and talk to the manager during working hours, as they can't/ don't know what to do during out of hours. On reporting the matter, on Monday, the manager avoids the call and sends apologies through a junior staff. That's a real shame for a ? 4 star hotel providing a 1 star service!
